The new Operating Plan aims to initiate new territorial management policies based on active safeguarding criteria and sustainable redevelopment strategies: a long-term vision of the agricultural plan and a network of ecological connections aimed at integrating the countryside and city.
The aim is to find new rules to redevelop the agricultural areas within the city (Parco delle Fonti, Parco dei Ciliani, the areas along the ring roads, the San Giusto area), promote local products, safeguard and regenerate the countryside, and provide the possibility to experience the countryside and open spaces within the city, without forgetting the ecological issues.
